IATAN Foundation

IATAN has established the Ronald A. Santana Memorial Foundation (hereafter referred to as the IATAN Foundation) in memory of the late Ron Santana, IATAN former board member, past ARTA president and travel agency owner and advisor. Mr. Santana was dedicated to the education of travel agents and championed their cause.

The IATAN Foundation provides $9,000 in scholarships annually to individuals who are interested in pursuing, or enhancing their careers in travel. The scholarships are subject to certain eligibility requirements.

Since 1998, IATAN has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to IATAN endorsed agents, and to those who met the scholarship criteria wishing to begin their careers in our industry.
